1. Who we are

Moanv Limited ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England (Company No. 15150129), operating from Perth, Scotland. We build practical tools, starting with Highland Hike Planner.

2. Information we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. We use this solely to send you confirmation and to notify you when our products (such as Highland Hike Planner) become available.

3. How we use your information

We use your email to: (a) confirm your waitlist sign-up; (b) contact you when our products launch; and (c) send occasional updates about Moanv products, if you have opted in. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

4. Legal basis

We process your data based on your consent — given when you submit your email, and separately when you choose whether to allow analytics cookies. You may withdraw either at any time: contact us to be removed from our list, or use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page to change your analytics choice.

5. Data retention

We retain your email until you ask us to delete it or until we no longer need it for the purposes described above.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. You may also object to processing or request data portability. Contact us at hello@moanv.com to exercise these rights.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use two things to understand how the site is used, and they are treated differently because they work differently.

Plausible gives us a basic count of page visits. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data and cannot identify you or follow you to other websites. Because it collects no personal data, it runs without asking permission.

Google Analytics tells us more — which pages people find useful, and roughly where visitors come from. It does set cookies, and it is provided by Google, which may transfer data outside the UK. Because of that, it only loads if you agree. If you decline, it is never loaded and no Google cookies are set. The site works exactly the same either way.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run ads, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone for marketing.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered in your browser, so clearing your browser data will make us ask again.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
